Hot on the heels of this: [link]I whipped up a simple redesign for Power Girl. It's basically her old outfit crossed with Superman's current New52 outfit.
Maybe I just don't "get" comics like DC editorial.

Perfect
The outfit is still sexy, still shows the Power Girl is Power Girl, but its just a bit neater. The white bodysuit is nicely broken up by the gold pauldron and chain for the bright red cape and the blue bucaneer gloves and boots, although I'd have kept the slight platform knee high boots she wore under the Connor pen, this is still an excellent example of a redesign.
The changes are small, subtle but enough to make it a new look. Yet at heart, this is still POWER GIRL.

I like it, but it seems too far in the OTHER direction (less skins the problem? Then clearly none at all is the solution!)
Her arms could be uncovered. Or something to break it up, as the all-white is very...plain. Even Superman has something making his costume not all solid blue.

I do agree, but this based on the current Superman outfit sans trunks. The belt's there to break it up a bit, but it could use more.
