Description
Haven't drawn Alan this way since he neutralized the terrorists on Hollywood. This time, we get a worm's eye view of the man, and boy do I like it! His mission was to take out illegal weapons hidden in Los Angeles, but of course the people keeping those weapons didn't like his presence.
Also, in this picture, I tried blending mediums: Using marker AND colored pencil, to see what the effects would be like. Unfortunately, I'm still in the scribbling department and I need to learn a more fluid control. But nonetheless, I'm proud of the angle and the shading I pulled off. That right hand is so close up!
It's too bad Alan doesn't get as much of the spotlight as his sister and niece do. But then again, he's the techie of the group and doesn't usually go out on his own. With his mom at HQ, that opportunity's easier to take.
One other thing: while this pic is of Alan's giant self, the next one shows the scale when he's 4 inches tall, give or take a few. And trust me, there's a reason why he doesn't shrink as much.
