Over some months midway through the year I have been practicing and studying various character designs from video games. Tends to be a somewhat enlightening experience, especially with characters from fighting games.

Seeing as how I'd like to get everything done in 2010 submitted within that year, here we go.

Ever saw a character that was actually rather disturbing to look at yet was kinda... hot? That's this character.

So there is a game for the Sega Genesis called Slaughter Sport - it's probably on the top 10 list of worst fighting games. It's set on some sort of planet known for brutal gladiatorial arenas owned by a REALLY really Fat mutant guy - kinda like Jabba the Hutt in a diaper...I'm serious.

The idea was cool, you have a bunch of really unlikeable dregs of the galaxy who fight for money or death. Some characters were actually really unique looking and creative actually. Including this character.

Now this is more of a two for one special, Spidra and Webra, for some reason the "Alt" color of a character was a new character altogether, so we have a dark blue black one, Spidra and the gold one Webra.

Spidra apparently was married to another combatant, a mutant with no lower legs named Stumpy, and is shy enough to cover herself when exposed in the shower (I swear I'm NOT making this up)

Webra on the otherhand eats her own children because shes better than them. (I'm not kidding, these are real Bios).

The design and concept is great, it's not conventional so it just hits you weird right off. But the sex appeal and obvious sense of "THIS WILL MOST LIKELY EAT YOU RUN AWAY" keeps luring you in even in a game with such great... graphics.

The lack of arms is a bit to get used to, especially with a pair of human legs but again - probably the most interesting looking character in the game. Ready to be reimaged.
