Hey, I like the concept here. I don't recall seeing anything like this before.

It's cool to see how the background is distorted through the ice. Also, I think the composition's pretty neat with the icicle coming over the borders, but I dunno about the colour and the exposure. It looks like the icicle is melting from the sun. Meh. Still good work. Keep it up.

ageofloss In reply to xenoblade [2005-03-01 22:58:56 +0000 UTC]

Thank you very much. I was also a bit concerned about the icicle looking cold and the colours very warm, there's a conflict there, but that's the way it turned out. I could have tried to change the colours completely to blue for example, but thought that wouldn't be too cool. Thanks for the comment

ah i love winter... when it freezes and there is snow on the ground. all we ever get here is really cold with lots of cold rain. no ice, no snow

I love what you did with the framing It really glamourizes this icicle.. I'm a big fan of them myself, and I think this one is just a graceful and almost -warm- as your last one. What it does to the sun is amazing.

Thanks pal! I appreciate it! I was worried cause the object, icicle, is cold and the colours are quite warm, so there's kinda conflict, but I guess that can also be a good thing, or mayby people just don't see it that way.... dunno! Thanks anyway.

Hienosti saatu aurinko taakse. tarkka kuva sΓ€vyt on perus "karut" ykwim. Ja toi syvΓ€ys on hienosti kekkastu.

Kiitti. Kiitti kommentista.
