Very interesting. It has some immediate dramatic impact... a little punch with the pose and the color. Then the eye sees the splotches as wings... pretty cool.
It makes me question, which is good, I guess. Questions like: who is she? Is she dead? What happened?
The detail is really great, and I can still see the shape of her head even with her hair around her on the "ground". Thank you. I applaud you for making sure she still had a human head.
I love the color. The splotches help in several ways... there is the symbolic wings effect, but also it helps to define the space, and the horizontal plane she is laying on. It also gives the attention grab that reds and yellows naturally do.
Overall, I like it. However, for me it seems to leave too many questions, and not tell enough of a story for it really to be a favorite of mine. I can easily admire your talent and techniques, which I envy, but I'm having a tougher time with the content on this one. Good job overall.

This is an intriguing piece. I love the idea of the wings spreading from the fallen woman. Where the piece loses points is rather in the execution of the woman herself.

The off putting element is the woman's right hand. The angle the hand sits is rather awkward, and breaks the gorgeous flow of the beautiful wing span. Another slight issue is the woman's head. It is difficult to tell if she is keeping her head held up as she lays rigid on the floor, or if it is simply an artistic mistake. Coming back to the rigidness of the central figure, I feel it would have been more effective to have had a little more movement, or pose, in the legs. She just seems so stiff. Perhaps if the issue with the hand was not evident, the legs may have seemed less rigid.

Overall the vision of the art is touching and powerful. Like all of the artists work the originality is miles ahead of many other artists. However, the technique suffers due to the application of the approach to the central figure atop of the wings. This, in the end, hurts the overall impact of the image as the eye is distracted by the flaws of the main object of the viewer - which is the woman.

Vision: At first sight this image immediately pulled me into the water color. They were so different from the rest of the image, IE the woman that it grabbed a lot of attention. I'm guessing the color of the water color or what could be seen as wings were also what grabbed a lot of attention. If thats what you were aiming for to grab attention then good job. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/>

Originality: Using acrylic with the water color really gave it a nice look. Though I've seen many people do this you pull it off very well!

Technique: The coloring is beautiful but I believe that a more fitting color scheme could have been used. Don't get me wrong though I do enjoy this one! (Simply an idea!)

Impact: Your image has a lot of emotion in it and the title adds to that. Though the characters face seems quite relaxed you can tell that is there is much more than that.

Nice work though! I enjoyed seeing this on the front page, very beautiful! Keep it up.
