Actually, when I drew this, there werenβt chapters 500 (and more) yet.
So in that time there was idea that Naruto had no cheek marks before Minato sealed Kyuubi to him.

We don't know. Actually, we don't even know if she's dead, it's just assumed from the fact that Tsunade and Jiraiya referred to her in the past tense, and that she was never present in Naruto's life.
