     You were the least of my conquests,
     No memories I fight to cling to,
     You are the essence of average,
     Nothing worthwhile to pursue.

Though,
     You have no assets worth craving,
     No starlit eyes to dream of,
     And no one can genuinely love you,
     For in what deceits can form love?

Though,
     Your soul makes sunlight a shadow,
     A dull blade sheering the wind,
     A solemn reflection of nothing unique,
     Imprisoned, as alone you sinned.

Though,
     You made up romance in fables,
     You existed to destroy yourself,
     Lying of family, experience, lovers,
     Friends, jobs, and purposeless wealth.

Though,
     Your only complexity was truthless repose,
     And your intellect fleeting at best,
     I'm sure you've denounced that fortune in me,
     This girl you once tried to impress.

So...
Did I cheapen myself there for a moment?
To lay my lips upon you?
  Adventures before so much vaster,
   As in my mind I swiftly review:
    Your treacherousness in moderation,
     Ashamed of the girl true inside,
      Instead of solutions, defacing the world,
    You were quick to run, yes Hyde [hide].

Though,
     Dear, perhaps you forget,
     I've had such heights better than this,
     A closeness developed artificial and sick,
     A meaningless midnight kiss.

     How does it feel in that loathéd form?
     Regressing to nothingness, lost in someone,
     A hideous favour borne by transressing flesh,
     Melt down to nothingness in the wake of this sun.
