Hard to be soft, tough to be tender

Ahh just a sugary little picture of one of my RP/fiction babies, Vadeyn. I went through my kabillions of art files the other day and was sorting everything, most of which are 5+ years old and came across this ([link] ) doodle (which isn't that old actually but w/e) and decided to mess with it.

Unnecessary about Vadeyn-- >I made him when I was.. 16.. he started out a doofy failure of an archer oppressed along with his cousin under the heavy boot of their forefathers in their highly insanely frightening militarized culture.
As I got older and put more thought into it and he developed more he's easily the character I'd most like to know were they all real (and not just because most of the rest are horrible people who would be in jail). He's got an extremely soft heart and earnestly seeks to do the right thing and struggles severely under the moral contradictions he feels under his culture..

I'm rambling and this picture isn't remotely emo or serious enough to warrant it..
