Description I fell into Mass Effect Andromeda pretty hard. And surprise Reyes Vidal is my favorite character. I don't think I quite did him justice... but I can't mess with it anymore right now. If I go to bed RIGHT now I can get a whole 5 hours of sleep.

thanks! He is really hard, and I don't know why. Every time I sketch / paint him he looks different. Like my brain can't decide how to stylize his features or something.

that's exaaaactly how i feel about him too! and his skin tone is also hard to get right xD but that might be because andromeda has so much different dramatic lighting that every reference looks different and its hard to tell what his actual skin colour is :'D

right? All the cave scenes he looks ORANGE (but the dramatic shadows are amazing). And Tartarus lighting is all neon and terrible. I wish I had the patience to make a Reyes Ryder in the CC so I could run him around and take screens in different lighting. I might just see if I can put a call out on tumblr to have CC wizards do that for me haha.

thanks! I'm trying to step away from the blending tool and just let my paintings look rougher and more 'painterly'. It still makes me self conscious, because on things like this you can tell 90% of effort went into the face and the outfit is kind of an afterthought xD You're too kind!

Stepping away from the blending tool is great improving process And I must say it's quite normal to leave outfit and everything except for face a bit rough, because people usually pay attention only to faces. Maybe it's discouraging, but we as artists can relax at least

My first play through I was going to romance a squadmate, and then Reyes happened so plans went up in flames. My second play through was really hard to turn him down. I still feel guilty about it xD I love this man.

I try to decide who I'm romancing before even starting a game. Then I flirt with only that person. Β Unless I'm playing a slut, then i flirt and bang everyone lol
