Description Been a while since I posted any dragons...

But I've decided to do sketches like this more often, and slowly flesh out the planet of dragons I've had ideas about for years, so I hope you look forward to more!

I don't have a name for it yet, but this is a whale-like species that swims largely by propelling itself with its modified wings, augmented by its foreflippers, to pursue large, speedy tuna- and shark-like fish. The family of aquatic dragons it belongs to developed before the waters of the world were made breathable via magic, so it still has nostrils located at the top of it head; it also has sensory pits at the front of its snout to detect prey and objects in subpar visibility. As it still has all six limbs, it is not considered a sea serpent.

Aaaa this is such a lovely design, I really like it.

“The waters of the world were made breathable”—to everyone no matter what, or where they toxic even to aquatic life or something before? I’m intrigued.

Hee~ thank you!

Everyone no matter what, largely to facilitate relations between aquatic and terrestrial species ^^
