Description WARNING! THERE'S A LOOOOOOOOOOOONG AS ALL F DESCRIPTION BELOW!
Please don't feel as if you have to read it O ~ O;;

Okay, so I was recently talking to Z-Doodler about, well a few things, but mainly about the possibility of the return of Andrew/Pinkie.
She said she may bring him back, but that he'd mostly like look a lot like Chris which I think? was the main turn-off for bringing him back.
Now, since I absolutely adore Pinkie to bits, I asked if I could make an urban design of him even though she probably won't use it orz
She gave me the go ahead, leading to this.

About the design:
To me, Pinkie's always been a rather feminine boy in both dress and his actual appearance. I heard something about him actually being a girl but JFC man lemma have my girly-boy dreams okok? >:'T
However, thanks to one picture where he was drawn with a gun, I also like to think that he had a bit of a violent side.
Because of this, I decided to give him a distressed-esq shirt with off-the-shoulder sleeves, a short vest which was inspired by his original coat, and a heart-shaped hair clip + patch.
In keeping with the urban theme, I also threw in a bandanna and some fingerless gloves which literally have no fingers at all, btw; they stop at the knuckles.
I also gave him some random, unzipped boots for funzies.

About how I interpret the character(s):
We never really got to know a whole lot about Pinkie, aside from the fact that he canonly looks like Chris and is fond of Ted.
But from his mannerism, I've kinda inferred that he's:
Adorkable | Awkward | Clingy| Excitable | Kinda Violent | Naive | Possessive | Scatterbrained | Sensitive | Quiet

In UKnT, Chris seems kinda sarcastic, Aiden's still judgmental, yet a nice kid underneath that, and Ted seems kinda quiet and straight-faced.
I think that Pinkie would sorta dislike Chris, since he's pretty close to Ted and is a bit insensitive, which would probably lead him to both hurt Pinkie's feelings often as well as make him jealous.
He'd probably be friends with Aidan as well as admire his artistic abilities.
Ted would be like his "senpai," since it seems like he admires him greatly and wants to be close to him.

The universe:
I have no idea why, but for some reason I feel like in UKnT, the main characters are some kind of freedom fighters against the government. O _ O
Following this tangent, I think all of the characters would have the following roles:
Chris would be the parkourist, who they send our to gather info, food, clothes, etc etc.
Aiden would be the one to spread the word with his graffiti, and is maybe a parkourist in training.
Ted would be the strong, protective, older-brother-esq leader.
Pinkie, I think, would be the fighter of the group, usually paired off with Aiden since he's the most vulnerable.
On a random note, I feel like he'd also get into fights with Chris a lot.

This would also explain why Aiden doesn't live with his mom, since he wouldn't want to compromise her. The reason they're in the alley is to stay undetected.

History:
-Semi-Mature Content Warning-

In this universe, I think that Andrew would've been a quiet boy who kept to himself. He'd have been the son of a widower shopkeeper.
Most days he's be occupied with moving all the boxes for his father, but other days his dad, for whatever reason, would school him in the ways of self defense, including the use of guns.
Occasionally, he would see teenager, usually either a green haired or blonde boy meeting his dad outback. His dad would give them food, which was nothing unusual, but they never gave him anything in return.
Distressed about the idea of thugs bullying his dad into giving them food, he confronted his dad about this.
He assured Andrew that nobody was forcing him to do anything; he gave them the food willingly.
Andrew asked why he would do that; food and money were scarce enough as it was.
He replied that it wasn't for nothing, and that maybe one day he would understand.
A few months passed without incident, until one night he heard the sound of shouting coming from outside, followed by three gunshots.
He rushed from his room and to the window to see a car driving off. He grabbed the door handle to follow them, when he heard a low groan from behind him.
He whipped around to see his dad, collapsed on the floor and concealed in thew shadows. He immediately went to his side, only to see blood pouring from two gun wounds.
He frantically placed his hands to the wounds, asking him what happened. His father laughed grimly, saying they found out he was supplying freedom fighters with supplies.
"Who? Who found out?" Andrew asked him, his vision blurring. He wiped at his eyes angrily, glancing around for something, anything!
"Listen to me, Andrew. I need you to continue my work. Keep helping the freedom fighters in anyway you can. You can do that for me, can't you?" his father said weakly.
Sobbing, Andrew hugged his dad close. "Yes dad, I'll do anything for you! ...Dad? Dad?"

Only two days later, the men who had killed his dad returned for him, spurred on by their higher-ups scolding them for leaving a job undone.
Andrew was sitting outback, waiting for one of his dad's regulars to show up for their supplies, when he heard the sound of the car door.
Remembering how his father was killed, he snatched his gun from beside him before moving to stand behind the front door.
The moment the men walked into the house, Andrew took aim and fired, taking out three of the four that stood in front of him before shooting the fourth in the kneecap, bring him to crumble to the floor.
"How do you like it?" he spat, straddling the man. "How do you like the pain, the fear, of being murdered, of knowing  you're gong to die?" he screamed out, emphasizing every word with a blow to the face.
"I don't know; how do you?" said a cool voice from the door, followed by the click of a gun. Andrew looked up slowly to see the barrel of a gun. He felt a cold, sinking feeling make its way down to his stomach.
He knew he was done for, that he had been too sloppy, too quick to announce victory.
"Heads up!" somebody called behind him before a rock hit the man before him square in the face before a gloved fist.
Dazed, Andrew didn't quite know was was going on until the green haired teen stood before him. "C'mon, Pinkie!" he said, extending his hand.
Taking it, Andrew ran away from his house and the man, following the green haired boy to an alley.
"Th-thanks for saving me," he panted before realizing they weren't alone.
"Who's that?" asked the raven haired boy sitting on a dumpster, glancing up at him distractedly.
"I think he's the son of that shopkeeper," replied the blonde teen, squinting at him.
"This," said the green-haired one, "is Pinkie."
"Pinkie?" he thought. "Uh, I'm actually Andrew-"
"And starting from today, he's one of us," the other teen finished, putting an arm around his shoulder.
Andrew felt his cheeks flush slightly. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad.

Other notes:
I don't think this need a mature warning, but I guess I could slap one up there?
You can also see the version without blood here.

I think Andrew was supposed to be female: In the same picture where Andrew was shown with a gun, she reveals to Ted that she's actually a girl named Alex. She was also shown to be a girl when she appeared in later comics as Huggles.

Actually, after I did some browsing around, I found the picture titled +Two Sides of a Coin+  In the description it mentions a conversation between Snow and Z regarding Pinkie. Since I genuinely wanted to know more about the character, I dug around on their profile comments in an attempt to find it. After a few minutes, I finally did. You can read it here, but I'll give you the cliff notes version;

Z had been undecided about whether or not to make Pinkie a girl. Snow then said that a girl would be great, but that they tend to get abandoned more often, and so Pinkie should just be a very girly boy. Z agreed, saying that at first she had been excited for a girl-leading her to make that comic your referencing- but then was like naaah. I guess she just threw it in with the rest of the doodles for funzies. Pinkie/Andrew's official gender was male. The doll Huggle's official gender was female.
Of course, I don't know why I bothered telling you this, since according to you all the characters are female anyways. :I

Nah, I'm aware of all the characters' true genders. What I don't get is why Z-Doodler doesn't feel that all her female characters have as much potential as her males. It just doesn't feel right to me.

I know, it's just that I always see you trolling people by saying that they're all girls so XD
I guess I can understand where you're coming from, but I also think I understand how Z feels by making almost only male characters.
My theory is that artists usually make characters they want to: be with - they're attracted to them, be around - they'd wanna be friends with them, or actually be - how they wish they were.

Example: I personally prefer to make male characters because I like how guys look and because I like to hang around the dudes. They're characters I want to be around.
When I do make a female character, she's usually a suave, flirty, tomboyish asexual. Basically me, but a bit smoother and with cooler hair generally orz.

To me, Z sorta seems like the kind of person who'd prefer hanging out with guys. I'm probably wrong, but that's kind of how I see it.
Anyways, I hope this explains why Z-Doodler, along with quite a few other artists, might prefer to make characters of one gender over the other. It's not so much because of a dislike for one gender, it's just because of a stronger affection for the other I guess. o u o

Well, I like hanging out with mostly girls, so I can see where this is coming from. Still, she hardly ever gives any of her female characters a chance. She says that females just don't have the same feel as males. I can only suppose that this is due to the patriarchy's way of depicting people based on gender. I might be wrong, though.

Uhh, no, I don't think that's why. Like I said before, it really is just preference.
If I was given a choice between a female character who was exactly like the character above and the male version, I would choose the male one in a heartbeat.
Why? Because I just like guys better. They really do have a different feel to them.
Not to say I don't like girl characters; I do, and have tons of them they I don't post anywhere.
It doesn't have anything to do with sexism, or thinking that girl characters can only behave in a certain way, it's just what the artist likes and doesn't like.
