Sam, a handsome man with a reputation as a womanizer and arrogant macho man, sat down in the auditorium of the packed hall with a mocking grin. He was bored with the magic act and considered hypnosis a sham. "This can't be working," he grumbled under his beard as the hypnotist on stage called for volunteers.

Of course, Sam immediately volunteered. He wanted to show everyone how stupid this "hypnotic farce" was. With an amused grin, he sat down in the hypnotist's chair and waited with hope in his eyes for the hypnotist to succeed.

The hypnotist, a sleek man in a dark suit, stared at Sam with piercing eyes and began muttering unintelligible words.

Sam laughed at first, but after a moment he fell silent and his face took on an absent expression.

"You're a professional female influencer. You make money by posting your photos and videos on social media."

Sam began to pout his lips and take a selfie with his non-existent camera.

"But look, you haven't even had time to put on makeup and lipstick yet."

Sam started running a non-existent lipstick in front of his mouth. Then he pursed his lips in satisfaction and looked at his nails. He set about painting them with non-existent nail polish without hesitation.

The audience was clearly enjoying themselves. The hypnotist let the mood in the room buoy him up even more.

"You're pregnant," the hypnotist said in a calm tone. "You're enjoying it very much. If you could, you'd be pregnant forever, how great it feels."

Sam looked down at his non-existent belly and began to stroke it. His hands were inches from his real belly. He smiled absently as he did so.

The audience was laughing at the top of their lungs.

"That's enough. You can wake up." The hypnotist finally freed him.

Sam jerked and stated as if nothing had happened, "I told you I couldn't be hypnotized."

"You're right, I'm so sorry," the hypnotist apologized to the eye.

The audience burst into laughter. Sam thought they were laughing at the hypnotist.

What Sam didn't know was that this was just the beginning of the story for him.
