Description The territories beyond the Grand Chasm are harsh lands plagued by a hostile environment and and unquenchable darkness.

The region if littered with active volcanos that constantly pour their rivers of lava over the snow-like sands covering the dark rocks.

However the perennial volcanic activity is not the greatest of the dangers for in those lands the boundary between dimensions dwindles; allowing entities from beyond the Veil to enter the material world.
Only the bravest, or the fools, dare venturing into those lands.

The Order of the Seekers maintains a constant presence in the region for the purpose of containing the incursions from beyond the Veil.

A garrison of soldiers selected from all the corners of the Free Realms, the Guardian Legion, supports the Seekers in compliance of the Treaty of the Floating Towers.

Occasionally some warlord decides to claim some abandoned fortress but their dreams of glory are usually short-lived.

A part the Seekers and the Legion, the only other stable presence in the area is the Cult of the Sanctified Flame.

The controversial religious group has built several temples in the region they declared holy.
Whether the cultists are actually able to thrive in a such environment remains a mystery, since they rarely interact with persons outside their group.

Those are lands where life is hard and death comes quickly; where the environment is constantly hostile and unspeakable horrors lurk in the darkness.

Legend says those were once idyllic lands with a poetic name until they were corrupted by the touch of evil during the Ancient Wars.

Such were the atrocities committed in those corrupted lands, that people feared to utter their name any long.

These days they are simply known as…

The Lands without Name.
