Description While not one of the best sunsets from my library, I was searching for something pink and romantic, and this came pretty close. Otherwise, I just didn't have the heart to draw anything for this particular day, as I'm a little shot right now for certain reasons. Anyway, please, enjoy.

Pretty sunset but it makes me sad in some way, dunno why though...
I read your artist comment but there's ane expression I didn't get: "a little shot right now"... Would you please explain it to me, I'm not a native speaker of English

Ah, well... to me, it just means feeling down and depressed. lol, though I hate to admit it at times, Valentines Day just has the habit of reminding me every year of what I've never really had, as I've never had a true relationship with anyone before, been kissed, etc. Such is the lonely life I lead. XD

Aww, poor you But you're not the only one, trust me... I never liked Valentines Day (even when I had someone to spend it with) to be honest and this year it totally sucked (I felt double lonely that day). It didn't help either when my mother was constantly reminding me that it's V-Day and that she is going to have an oh-so-great time with my father while I'll be sitting alone in my room... That was the worse day I had in a long time... But it wasn't all that bad, I got inspired to draw my angel of hatred
Ok, another long answer, guess you were right, I like spending time talking to ya...

Is that so bad? Feeling's mutual.

lol, an angel of hatred for Valentines. Sounds perfect.

Ah, it's alright for the most part. Bit lonesome when it's just me looking at sunsets by myself though.

Gorgeous, I can see how this one's romantic. Great colors, and they're soft, almost pastel. I want to go cloud gazing now! too bad it's raining...

Aikurisu In reply to LunasKiss [2009-02-17 17:05:24 +0000 UTC]

Thanks! Though I'm sure the rain would have cleared up by now? If anything, the nice thing about rain is that it usually brings the good clouds in the first place.

And while I know about the old saying about 'having your head up in the clouds', I can't help but think it a good thing of late... for there's potential artistic inspiration to be had with it.

LunasKiss In reply to Aikurisu [2009-02-20 02:15:39 +0000 UTC]

yeah, but just for a few days...We really need the rain though. That's very true! We've had so many great sunrises lately (I'm on my way to school and I get to see them) Never have a camera though...*sigh*

that is very true...hmm...maybe it's supposed to mean more along the lines of not having it up there for a long time...Put your head in the clouds every now and then! Heck i think we need kinds of inspiration and relaxation like that to remain sane!

Aikurisu In reply to LunasKiss [2009-02-22 04:48:26 +0000 UTC]

Agreed! Plus, looking at things like this... it just makes you value the natural beauty the world can bestow us with.

Honestly, I wish I could get up in time for sunrises... though I'm too much of a nightowl at heart. By the time I fall asleep, it's usually an hour before sunrise... and I can't get to sleep when the sun is truly out.

LunasKiss In reply to Aikurisu [2009-02-23 04:45:35 +0000 UTC]

Yes it does...the world is full of beauty that we just...miss...on a daily basis. We need to stop and just look around us more.

yeah, the only reason I do is for school...I'm a night owl as well...yeah, I know what you mean.

Aikurisu In reply to LunasKiss [2009-02-26 09:26:50 +0000 UTC]

Indeed about missing things of natural beauty on a daily basis. Problem with this world is that it runs too fast to be given that sort of time. No wonder people are more stressed out in life if they can't learn to appreciate the simple things.

LunasKiss In reply to Aikurisu [2009-03-03 05:53:02 +0000 UTC]

Yes indeed, we all move so quickly in our daily lives, school, work, family...etc. Very little time just to sit and think or to go on a nice calming walk. I try to get out and just enjoy being outside, look at the grass, trees, anything that relaxes me. it's really a shame that so many miss out on so much in life because they fail to notice it.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Aikurisu In reply to LunasKiss [2009-03-03 12:14:56 +0000 UTC]

Aye, I tend to try getting outside at least for half an hour before the sun sets... hence why I have so many sunset photos, lol. Just gives me time to think to myself without any distractions... save for the occassionally rare and deadly snake crossing my path. XD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LunasKiss In reply to Aikurisu [2009-03-08 22:31:55 +0000 UTC]

Haha, that sounds like a great time to be outside. last night I went on a walk and it got dark on me. It was really really nice, but I couldn't see the sunset for the clouds...oh it's just a deadly snake, nothing to be concerned about. I love having time to just think. Life can get stressful and it just gives you a while to relax...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Aikurisu In reply to LunasKiss [2009-03-10 17:20:31 +0000 UTC]

I know... and that's the thing. We all need to get away from everyday happenings to just clear our heads with a quiet walk every now and then. And as for it getting dark... it's not such a bright thing around here when things become quickly overgrown in little more than a summer month's passing. It's no small wonder why I get nervous and paranoid of my surroundings when you can't see anything clear ahead of your feet, unless you stick directly to the road. >_>;;

But yeah, of course. Deadly snake are apparently cute and fluffy and meow when you approach them? ... or is that what they recently ate?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LunasKiss In reply to Aikurisu [2009-03-13 22:36:56 +0000 UTC]

yeah...there's not too much to worry about when you're walking here at night. Though sometimes I trip on my puppy (she's pitch black)... Yeah, it's difficult when you can't see anything...how overgrown does it get there? Sticking directly to the road can be nice sometimes, but exploring is a blast too, as long as you have a landmark or something so you don't get lost, depending on how far you're planning on going...

*laughs* I think they're cute...not so sure about the fluffy or meowing part though. Haha it sure does fit for what they last ate...poor fluffy creature that became dinner...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Aikurisu In reply to LunasKiss [2009-03-18 09:30:09 +0000 UTC]

lol, currently things are really overgrown... it haunts me.

And you think snakes are cute? I try to avoid them like the plague.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LunasKiss In reply to Aikurisu [2009-03-21 04:48:50 +0000 UTC]

well that's not good, but at least you're used to it...

Of course I do! I used to have one as a pet when I was little. I had him everywhere with me. Though he wasn't poisonous or deadly in any way... I think I would avoid dangerous snakes...

Aikurisu In reply to LunasKiss [2009-03-25 16:12:51 +0000 UTC]

lol, then you may want to give Australia a miss. Came across a deadly brown snake the other day, and my damn little dog almost walked straight on top of it, despite my early protests.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LunasKiss In reply to Aikurisu [2009-04-04 01:07:53 +0000 UTC]

Oh i don't think so. I'd love to go there, I would just make sure to give snakes lots of space if I came across one. Oh no! that has the potential to be bad...My dog was bitten by a rattle snake last summer, ubt she was so scared that she pulled back and its fangs ripped out. We had to pull the fangs out of her shoulder...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Aikurisu In reply to LunasKiss [2009-04-06 08:24:24 +0000 UTC]

Ouch... although rattle snakes aren't considered really poisonous, right?

Thankfully, most snakes in this area tend to be easily spooked when something nearly steps on them. ... just wish they were spooked yards before anything came in close proximity of them.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LunasKiss In reply to Aikurisu [2009-04-10 02:52:10 +0000 UTC]

well no, they aren't very poisonous but if you're out a ways on a trail you could lose a limb from the poison if you don't get to a hospital soon enough. Not nearly as bad as some of the snakes you have.

yeah, rattlesnakes usually let you know a few feet beforehand, but if they're cold they won't. Typically you can hear them if you can't see them...yeah it's nice to be warned...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Aikurisu In reply to LunasKiss [2009-04-12 06:57:54 +0000 UTC]

lol, indeed... and losing a limb doesn't sound half as bad as dying within 30 mins/an hour or two of being bitten... yes... >_>;;

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LunasKiss In reply to Aikurisu [2009-04-13 06:34:48 +0000 UTC]

yeah...that's not bad at all compared to dying. In any case, be careful around most snakes.
