"For long you have worried her, child, watching you silently become as fine a huntress as any of this world. She watches you knowing this, trying to remain at ease despite feeling hopeless that one of her daughters has no intention of settling down and raising a family of her own in peace without knowing bloodshed of any measure. She fears this yet knows that of all our children you know your path the clearest. She knows that you are as stubborn as your father, too, and that no words in any tongue could take that from you. So instead of changing your mind she helped me forge this so as to be at your side when neither of us may not be able to follow."

"She has always loved you, Myar. Perhaps even more than I."

Despite their differences, Ilyndrae always loved her ninth child, Myar. Some say they were hardly alike, although others closer to the two believe they had more in common than they realised. It was Kaethyr who helped his wife understand this in the end, and it was this dagger that remains a testimony of Ilyndrae's blessing for her daughter's path. It was also one of the only material possessions Myar took with her when she began her long journey far from home, knowing it was in many ways her mother's protection over her no matter how many distant stars or enemies came between them. Indeed, the small waystone embedded in the blade has a fragment of Ilyndrae's psychic power resonating within it, humming softly as a reminder that her spirited daughter was always special to her. It is also, ironically, believed to impart healing regeneration properties to its wielder, making this blade a fairly simple example of Ilyndrae's power, blessed like Isha's own will to protect her children.

Edit: Thanks ~Sokil-Su for pointing out that one silly design mistake that is definitely fixed now. (Personally, I blame it all on not drawing blades for so long. 'Tis a rational excuse, no? XD)

And with this I've broken an oddly long drought when it comes to weapon illustrations from me. The last was made back in late September, so yeah... took me long enough. x_x;;
