Description
My version of Cas’s true form. I did a bunch of research into what attributes seraphs have had in religious mythology, and tried to compile it all into something that still felt like it belonged in the SPN mythos, and also felt like Cas to me.

My research came to this disjointed set of detail about seraphs:

---They have four faces (sometimes specified as being four human faces)
---They have six wings; three sets of wings; one set “to cover their eyes” (I interpreted this as being at eye level), one set to fly, and one set to “cover their toes” (which is speculated as being a euphemism for covering their genitalia Yeah, I don’t know either, I just put them at hip level and called it a day)
---They are associate with fire/energy/light, and they glow so brightly that even other angels can’t look directly at them without going blind
---They are sometimes interpreted biblically, as being “serpents” rather than angels (I interpreted this as being serpent-like or even dragon-like in shape, and imagine that they have long tails, like a comet)

The information I took from SPN about what Cas’s form must be like:

---He is made of light
angels have no genders, so I didn’t want to make it look masculine or feminine in any way. I went for a strong sense of androgyny
---He has human-ish hands (how else would he have left those burns on Dean?)
---He is “roughly the size of your Chrysler building”, which I interpreted as being his overall height rather than width, though I do imagine him being much larger than a human
---I decided to go a little bit literal with the quote “angel inside of you, it’s kinda like being chained to a comet”, so I imagine that from the hips down Castiel is essentially a tail of energy, and would actually resemble a comet.
---Although he can heal the vessel from the sigil on his chest, I imagine that it would leave a scar on his true form.

I tried very hard to make it simultaneously humanoid and uncannily inhuman. I hope it worked.
