Whew, getting back into drawing anime here . . . it's tough. This drawing is a somewhat experimental piece, seeing as i'm usually really really bad at drawing profile pictures. I attempted to achieve a sort of fluid-like feel by using relatively flat 2-dimensional shapes with 3-dimensional texturing. Not sure exactly how it turned out.Any comments are welcome comments.
...And yes, he is chewing on a pencil.

LOL yeah, emo can generally be distinguished by punky-ish clothing, but all in black. And every good emo kid has their hair dyed black, if not naturally ;D

weh? Fashion statements are always separate to their stereotypical behaviour. For example, i know a helluva lot of people that would be classified as "gothic" by looks, but some of them are the warmest people i know. Emo fashion rocks my socks, but little teeny-boppers who swear at old people because they don't wear wrist jewellery (ie: annoying kids who are emo at heart) are not cool.
It all depends on how willing you are to look past the image, ignoring the cover of the book, and peering inside to discover the heart that lies within. You shouldn't be so quick to judge people by their looks, Ardnith.

Oh and i'd be wearing moi chuckies instead of the accidental booties. AND i need a pencil similar to that. I DO HAVE ONE (the nice traditional yellow-painted ones) but it has an eraser on the end which would slice at my gums if i attempted to chew on it ;.;
