If I told you that I'm going to make a sketch of a cartoon skunk, you would probably imagine a Pepe Le Pew based character, right? So this time I have a little surprise for you.
I was inspired by a cute little Bambi book that I got when I was a kid and have found lately while tidying up my bedroom.

What I always find funny about Bambi is that you almost never see people mention the fact that Bambi actually grows up in the movie. Disney always advertises this movie with Bambi during his fawn years when that's only about 60% of the movie or so. And you could easily be forgiven for thinking if you've never seen the movie and only going by word of mouth that the movie ends when Bambi's mother dies-I dunno, maybe so many kids were traumatized by that and the stunning realization that you could lose a parent as a child that they completely blocked out the rest of the film afterwards? My best guess
I admit that Bambi has never been one of my all-time favorite Disney films (I have it on VHS like most Disney films up to about the mid-90s, but I never watched it particularly much) but I do appreciate the art in it very much 
And yes, Disney's style is distinctly different from WB's. Lot more cutesy which I appreciate

As far as I remember Bambi was one of the Disney saddest movies, at least for me. I love the artwork in it as well, especially the gorgeous backgrounds and those cute character designs, which by the way were based on real animals.
Haha, actually when I was a small kid I thought that Flower was a girl.
