Description I hope to god this never happens.

The premise of this project is that taipei becomes the battlefield between china and the US. US forces deploy their new combat-drones in the front lines for the first time. They are a secret project and are designed to camouflage as normal soldiers.

Course war in the future, or even today, would not really be fought in the streets of a major city like that, but hey, it looks cool in a game so :3

If it were to happen today, the US would never even voice support for the ROC (Taiwan) for fear of displeasing the PRC. Β After January of next year, it might.

Of course, my theory is that the first combat drones built will be Battle Droid-esque from Star Wars. Fragile, stupid, easily destroyed, stupid, inefficient, stupid, more likely to cause collateral damage, and last of all, stupid.

Personally, I think the unification will eventually come.... but for economics reasons.
So the US will be humiliated trought the peace. Chinese are no lose guns, in real life, they would avoid this kind of unncesesary action.

So, I guess China tried to retake Taiwan, in this picture, right ?

I have a story in my mind which would take place in 2047, when Hong Kong is supposed to lose it's particular status of special province and will have to apply the same laws that in the rest of China. I imagined that citizens of Hong Kong would refuse to do so, and then a civil war would rage, with the Hong Kong rebels remote-supported by the United States...

Having the same concept as mine, however it's not backed by the US, but luring her into chaos. Such as attacking a parking aircraft carrier by protesters disguised as PLA soldiers.
