Description Done at last. So, what to say? It's been a long time since I used gradients as a large part of a peice. Last time was one of the first peices in my gallery. Flash mx has a really annoying gradient tool, more complicated than before but I got it sorted. I like the way this has turned out but I feel it could do with a bit of remixing and messing about with... you like?

You're skills at vector are amazing!

If this is done without reference, then I am pulling my hairs out of my scalp!

The driver seems like Leonardo Dicaprio.

I want to see the reference, well sorry to disturb you, but I wish to see that.

Meanwhile, please see a rookie attempt from me to do a vector of my office: [link]

Nice work man, the gradient works well on the side of the car and the wheels look fantastic, I know all those spokes weren't fun to do. You've got some real talent, keep it up. I'm adding you to my devwatch.

It's lovely to see someone else who is into classic cars and Graffiti ...awsome picture, gotta love the rims...circa 50's cars are the best, i'm saving up for a Desoto (preferably '57) ... and i don't even know where to get one. And Classic Car Mart mag is crap...still, this picture is cool. Noice wan bravah.

You done good, Sparky... this looks really awesome... and don't mind what people say about how the guy looks odd... I think it kind of adds to it... but if you want to tie him into it a bit better, maybe do the lenses on his glasses as a gradient?
The stem of the sunglasses does look a tiny bit odd, too, maybe a different color.
And since I'm pointing out bits, maybe do a gradient on that back door handle?
and maybe... just maybe, I'm not sure about it, something to do with the foot that's on the ground... it gets lost in the shadow. That might have been your intention, but it kinda makes me blink and wait to see the guy fall over cause he has no foot (or a very small one)
Then again, these are tiny things that nobody else is likely to notice lol
Seriously, though, it was wonderful to watch the progress of this piece and it is magnificent...
far far better than anything I could ever do lol

PS- The font is great. I like the font.

:hugs:

it looks spectacular!

you are really good at using gradients, maybe you should apply them to everything next time. The car looks so real, and you could make some serious money making vector drawings that are so life like.

i really like it- the car came out nice and smooth-

only thing though, the car *is* so nice and smooth with its gradiants that it looks odd paired next to the chuncky style the man's done in.

i see where you're coming from, but he is wearing baggy clothes in a windy area and the car is covered in shiny paint... i could really make them that similar
