Really like your technique, and really the look as a whole, but I would've liked it if you touched on other subjects aside from addictions (which are sorta nothing new, perse).

I have to admit that I'm kind of confused about it, though. I've done maybe four pieces about addiction that are currently in my gallery, and only one-- this one-- has been done in the last two years. While this subject may be cliche, it is a subject that is very personal for me. These pieces can be very cathartic. While somebody else may get nothing out of them, or I may not be happy with how the piece came out, I make them to help me deal with the situation at hand.

I have to admit that I'm enjoying your gallery quite a lot, and a little shift in perspective allowed me to have a different appreciation of the idea that an addiction is "part of a modern family"(albeit a very grim appreciation).
Also as a funny coincidence, I happen to be reading Harry Haller's records just these days (whom I identify with) so the last piece you've uploaded is quite touching to me.
