I don’t know if chili cookoffs are normal workplace events, but they’ve happened at my various jobs so I’m assuming these things happen on a regular basis in office buildings around the world.

Winslow is notorious for cooking food with unique ingredients, so anything made of secret ingredients should immediately cause suspicion. He’s right about one thing, though: presentation is important. And there’s no food more diabolical than food served in a hollowed-out skull.

Apparently cooked sheep's head is actually a thing in some Scandinavian cultures.  Skull and all.  Just the sight of it in a book almost made me barf.  (Fans of the dish say that the eye is the best part.)

I've never had a chili cookoff at work before.....I'm going to have to remedy this. It's a shame the ingredients Winslow uses are secret; let's just say there's a few of my colleagues I'm not too fond of
