I'm sure many people had the same thought about River ("She's like a female Indiana Jones!" ) but as I've never come across any fanworks, I decided to draw something myself, and this silly little comic was born XD

I was too lazy to research whether George Lucas and Steven Spielberg knew each other in their youth, btw., so let's just imagine the alien jellyfish attacked some event which, by coincidence, they both attended - and many years later they realised they had both met the trigger-happy archeology professor and her quirky husband (?) who looked much more the part of an archeology professor (and wore that supercool fedora XD)

And River really should stop trolling her poor parents about her love life - though I find it absolutely hilarious, of course! XDD I'm looking forward to seeing how the relationship between the Ponds and her is going to change now they know she's their timey-wimey daughter~

[Oh, and since I'm posting this in the "Doctor Who Anime" group: Anyone else thought "Oh Moff, have you been watching Dragonabll Z and Sailormoon in the 90s?" ]

More Doctor/River stuff to come for sure, because I haven't been so fond of a canon het ship since Ron/Hermione
