Hi, Yes they are not bad, but they are rusting quite a bit when you are close up.

Did they ever figure out what made her sink? Wikipedia seems to allude to some sort of attempt at insurance fraud, but it sounds like a computer glitch in the ballast controller.

Yeh, it was a problem with the ballast tanks. They had been problems with it before it got to Cyprus. There was talk of it carrying arms destined for Syria, as it was sealed off from divers by the military immediately after sinking, but we will probably never know.

Hi, they did do a repair in Italy as it had problems on it's way from Sweden. It was listing badly as it came to Cyprus. The port of Larnaca would not let it dock in case it sank and blocked the entrance. It was left a mile out from the port and only a third of a mile out. Everybody was removed from the vessel while engineers worked aboard. After three days the system was switched on and it then sank. There is some footage of it sinking by a local tv crew. I have plenty of video on Youtube at www.youtube.com/akamasdiver . Enjoy!

Hi, they were part of the cargo on the "Zenobia" maiden voyage. She went down with all cargo on-board and now lies in 42m on it`s port side.
