   ▸ Information: [ An ancient tribe that dwells deep in the mountains where the rivers flow. They are a group of creatures who is a hybrid cross of a chinese Long and a white tiger.They have fur that are in the shape of flames on their legs, a long tail of a dragon and horns , with the leg power of a tiger. Said to be able to control clouds and the river streams. They are a traditional group who over time , developed the appearances of humans from observing the other humanoid races, very few retain their original form. They rarely leave their home mountain and are quite spiritual beings who are intelligent and quick learners. Some say if one spots one of these elusive creatures in their full form is granted luck,fortune and health ]

   ▸ Information: The ceremonial sword given to him by his father in which is used along side with his talisman to create a battle style between usage of magic and swordsmanship. Also used to tune his wooden mechanic creations. He is a moderately skilled swordsman, having being taught from little.

   ▸ Information: Slips of paper that is usually written on rice paper or translucent ones and is embedded with magic by whatever is drawn/ written on it. Ie. Water Swirl is written on a slip and Neku throws it or slaps it onto his sword it will bring forth that magic. However, in Neku’s case what he can summon or do it extremely limited; his species natural power is over water/wood, so his spells include summoning a water/wood spell or enhancing his sword with the magic for stronger impact. He isn’t skilled enough to do summoning of familiars, or bring forth many elements at his current level.
Personality:
Neku is a friendly person at heart, with a belief that people live to search for what they are meaning to imprint upon this world. He rarely displays acts of violence nor anger as the teachings of his clan has taught him self restraint and to keep a level head at any situation. After being in a protected village for so long, he is eager to learn about new things and possesses a curious nature that leads him to explore almost anything. He adapts quickly to his surroundings, this side of him comes from pursue of knowledge and cultural beliefs- he doesn’t like to stand out so will try to blend with the locals if he possibly could.

History:

“ Xia Xuan, what is it that you desire? What is it that drove you to break the law of our clan.”

In the deep mountains of a faraway land where a long river streams across the surface, lies the sacred grounds of the now secluded Hu clan. The clan leader Huan Zhen and his wife, Qing Xue had 3 children- the eldest daughter Xin Ling, eldest son Xia Xuan(Neku) and youngest son Qiu Yun.

Their tribe did not welcome foreigners and did not allow any of the main royal family to step outside of the world in fear of being corrupted by the malevolence or impurity of the outside lands.

Create the best Mechanical beast ( to surpass his mother who is the person who taught him how to make these objects in the first place)
Extend his knowledge of the outside world
To search for a meaning in setting oneself in the eyes of society
Create a log book of all his findings

Abilities:
Glide Jump [ Species ]
[ Their species do not sport wings but have the ability to glide through the air much like their distant Long relatives- added with the power of the tiger’s leg muscles is what enables them to propel themselves into the air, the flame like fur on their legs creates the gust they glide on. ] - It does not enable Neku to fly for long periods of time and he will need to jump off from certain heights.
Tail Strength [ Species ]
He is able to balance objects or pick things up as if his tail was a third arm, especially when work gets busy and he needs to multitask . You don't want to be [pummelled by his tail] as it is pure muscle, but due to [its] sensitivity, it's a double edged sword [that'll] hurt him too if large impact is dealt to it.
Inventor [Skill]
As his job, he is good at making different kind of contraptions made primarily of wood that move with the fusion of his talisman magic. The smaller the object ( ie. a wooden mail pigeon ) the more likely it’ll be able to move for longer because the magic is wired to a smaller source, anything much bigger holds the risk of exploding or the talisman magic fading out in a few minutes ( usually Neku is proud of these but it explodes in his face anyway ) He could command them but that requires a talisman magic of a high level of which he doesn’t possess so the only thing he can move to his will is things no bigger than a small bird, which he only does in the store and is never used in battle.

- Water Swirl - Streams of water surround the sword or it is cast as long ranged spell..
- Earth Vines - [once cast] His sword is plunged into the ground and vines will raise to entangle the enemy. ( Spell works if there is plant life around or if there’s seeds )

- Enhancement - Strengthens blade by infusing magic into it. [ enhancements are also used on Neku's Wooden contraptions ]

Strengths:
Quick learner and Information retainer
Mechanic: He is usually able to fix things that break
Keen eye for detail : Due to his work, he is observant in small details and things that could be different or stands out from the rest of the surroundings.

Weaknesses:
He has to chant when he uses talisman ( unable to just utilize them without the chant unlike his father due to lack of power) This causes him to delay in attacks and can easily be hit ( Spell caster time)
His tail is a double edged sword that even though it’s strong ,if heavy impact hits it, there’s a chance Neku will be stunned for a bit because of pain. Same thing with if his horns are broken.
I trust you: He trusts easily and can be gullible because he was raised in a protected village
Has a tendency to throw himself in the face of danger if it means saving his friends

Usually it’s his own contraptions that he invents that fails, but fixing stuff for people is generally fine as he was taught in that field.
Occasionally he makes music boxes and gives them to his little brother
When he can’t concentrate or is frustrated, he’ll start playing the Guzheng
