5 am doodle. Thats what happens when you play both games at the same timealso a tribute to character designer Miho Tanaka who worked on both games/series (she's also credited as writer on the Youkai Watch movies)
I actually had to check countless times but yeh, apparently that's her
she did the Yokai concepts, while Nagano did the human characters in YW.But even without that, it was funny enough to go from "kill all the monsters" to "let's befriend all the monsters" ...back and forth

On a side note, if you haven't played/watched Yokai Watch I really recommend it to you, been playing it since 2013 but it's getting more popular in the west now as both anime and games got localized. The dub, in both ENG and FR, is pretty decent too.
