In some ways, Rainflower is worse than Mapleshade. At least mapleshade acknowledged Crookedkit when his mother abandoned him and that's the worst thing a mother can do to it's kit.

There is a Rainflower in the original warriors Series actually? I am writing an fanfiction of my OC Rainflower but I didn't know that there's a cat in the original Series called Rainflower xD

Am I the only one that doesn't COMPLETELY hate Rainflower? She was an annoying and belligerent cat, which made her hateable,and to top it all off, she was a major asshole. HOWEVER......
I personally would like to believe Rainflower never hated Crooked. I just think once his face made such a dramatic change, her over idealization of him was far from what she hoped would be. I just don't think she thought he was the same cat after that which is very sad

You're not. I'm neutral on Rainflower. But she's certainly not mother of the year, that's for sure.

Definitely. Which is the only thing people hate her character for. she did lose everything after a while. Her love life and the affection from both of her kids. After that, I just think she was too scared or proud to admit her wrongs. She wasn't evil, she made it to Starclan. I'm sure Rainflower was forgiven for her mistakes not just by her celestial ancestors, but also her family.

I wouldn't say scared. I'd say proud.
Though, if I remember correctly, Shellheart apologized for Crookedstar's own mother's actions, which is....kind of low.
