i hate hate hate hippie carpets! ahaha
its like an acid trip!
maybe i'll try to edit the floor white or something later on >.>;

omgah so.. about 2 days before the con my friend andy says "your planning to do soul!? good! i want to do a piano photoshoot"
(or something along those lines haha)

i reply Ok!! sounds hawts!

then later i find out he meant the shoot to be during ALA!!
which was a day or 2 away!!...
i tell him i wasnt sure since i didnt have time and fabric stores were closed etc...
then he says it should be plenty of time! "sew tmw after going to joanns!" he says...

i agree and the next day spent HOURS looking for fabric for his pinstriped jacket........

the 3 joanns in my are had NONE!!!
i called about 5 other joanns...even the ones that was an hr away...no luck.

i went to hobby quilting stores and couldnt find any...

at this point i got very desperate...so i called to see if she could stop by FD in LA and grab me some on the way to my house XD...
then i quickly changed my mind because i thoguht it was a hassle for her~

i was soooo desperate.. that i was tempted to get black fabrric and color in the white pinstripes with a white sharpie LOL...
but talked myself out of it... because it would look bad...

i was about to give up..

then finally my mom reccomended i went to a warehouse fabric store by my old art school...
i rush over their grieveing and agitated...and find the store closed -.-
i got there 20 min too late..bah
so..
the following day..
i got up early and went to the store again ON MY WAY to the con LOL

and luckily i found one!! OMFG I FOUND PINSTRIPED FABRIC!!

BUT!!!....it wasnt the right color.. its was NAVY!! BAH!!
i searched the store for about half an hour when i was already late to the artist alley check in...

and i finaally found BLACK PINSTRIPES FABRIC!!

BUT.....
it was not the size i was looking for...and not the right material...

i screamed on the inside and just gave in...
and just bought the fabric they had...

and i sew the outfit at the con! LOL
it was the first time i've ever done that..and wow.. i never want to do it again

being up every night while my roomies were sleeping ahaha
wasnt a good feeling especially when i was already sick.
and her cousin offered to help many times, but i wanted them to sleep hehe
dont want them to suffer like i had too!! *damn you andy* hurhur

and trying to match the pinstripes to eachother was a bad idea as well.. was murder
i couldnt finish the jacket in time for the soul eater gathering, however i finished it in 2 nights in time for my friends shoot...

i also styled the wig at 5? in the morning haha
i finished styling it just the way i wanted in about 30min- an hr...
then i realize that i STYLED IT TO THE WRONG SIDE!! laawlawlawllwa
FAILL
afraid that i would wake my roomies, i washed the wig in the sink...
dried it... and did it again.... but this time it only took me 20 min or so to style it the right way... lawllllllll

cosplay is getting tiresome
