Next year will be a new beginning for me in every sense of the word, and in preparation I think I am finally reaching the point that I can move on and walk away from some people in my life with no regrets.
And it fills me with a sense of relief.

This really shows the title theme, giving up and letting go. I love how you did it in black and white, and I have to say that it looks very realistic, as if it were taken with a camera.

I'm usually not a big fan of black and white (they make me kinda sad, who knows why) but this so so so works. it's just beautiful.

I spent a long time trying to decide between colour and b&w - I was afraid that this would end up seeming gloomy when it wasn't my intention. In the end though, I figured black and white conveyed the raw simplicity of when you close a chapter in your life, just before the colour of the next begins.
