Description

The Bull Demon King, also known as the Great King, is a character in the novel "Journey to the West", the husband of Princess Iron Fan and the father of Red Child.
In his early years, the Bull Demon King made obeisances to seven demon kings including Hua Guo Shan and Sun Wukong, claiming to be the "Great Sage of Pingtian". Later, he married Princess Iron Fan in the West and was introduced to Princess Yumian. He also stayed in Princess Yumian's Moyun Cave for a long time. Tang Monk and his disciples passed by Flame Mountain while taking scriptures from the West. However, Sun Wukong bullied Princess Iron Fan while using a trick to borrow a banana fan, which angered the Bull Demon King and led to a long battle with Sun Wukong. Although the Bull Demon King was defeated under the joint siege of Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and the Land, Sun Wukong was unable to surrender to the Bull Demon King. In the end, he surrendered under the siege of the Protector King Kong and the Heavenly General, and was led westward by Nezha.
