Description

A water slide between the seventh and sixth levels of Nishat Bagh (Garden of Joy), a terraced Mughal garden near Srinagar in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is the largest of the Mughal gardens in the Kashmir valley and was built in 1633.

I know two Mughal gardens in Indian Kashmir: Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. They are all examples of the fusion of Indian and Islamic garden styles, but Kashmir's magnificent scenery certainly adds to their beauty!

Yes indeed, it is a magical place. The third garden that I visited in the Srinagar area was Chasme Shahi; not as large or famous as the other two but still beautiful.

I don't think it's meant to be a waterpark type slide, although I'm sure some have tried over the centuries!
