Slender West Lake (Shou Xihu) is a scenic lake and national park in the city of Yangzhou, in the eastern Chinese province of Jiangsu.

Created from the original photograph titled "To Distant Waters" by Chinese student and photographer Zhang Ye, aka Hubery-Zhang , who very kindly gave me permission to publish this on DA. You can find his original photograph here:

It was created using Redfield Sketch Master Charcoal Light and Perfectum filters, Photonify Beauty Pose action, and Photoshop Equalize and Variations Highlight adjustments. Personally I think the result looks like a Chinese landscape painting but Xiao Zhang is of the opinion that is like a piece of white jade with seeping colour. I'll bow to his greater knowledge of Chinese art!
