About the drawer lived experience around this church:
I miss the cultural winter and religious festivals. The space in front of this church, of immense historical and cultural value, was occasionally the location of theaters and performances. The stage was the stones of the street pavement, the lights were dim and directed at the artists, and in the cold, under a starry night sky, it all became much more special.

A little bit of Brazilian history:
Church of Our Lady of the Rosario / São João del-Rei - MG.
The year was 1708, the fact, the foundation of the brotherhood composed exclusively of blacks, the Brotherhood of Our Lady of the Rosary and Saint Benedict. Being the temple in question is the oldest in the city, the chapel was blessed in 1719 and the current construction was in 1751, when it was renovated. In later renovations in the 20th century, the temple which had only a central tower, which threatened to fall and was demolished, received the addition of two towers.
