I used a #2 pencil on lined paper for this for two reasons... first off, to show you don't need fancy expensive art supplies to make a nice picture. Second, to show that it's not computer altered, like highlights or shadows or something.You can't alter a picture on lined paper without making it apparent or redrawing the lines, which is more trouble than it's worth. x.x I did add the text at the bottom with the computer, because I don't put my usernames on my drawings offline.
I didn't put a background on it because one, I'm lazy, and two, a background would have hidden the lines ((excuse for being lazy)).
I haven't submitted anything since May... and when I finally do, it's on freakin' lined paper. Bleh. Well... enjoy anyway. It looks like every other picture of Tharo I've drawn. :/
...I like it anyway, so there.

You know, I've never seen someone do something like this. I mean, yeah, people upload pictures that are on lined paper, but seriously, I never would have guessed that you don't need special pencils or anything just to draw a nice picture.
Try doing that with a mechanical pencil

I draw mostly with mechanical pencil. o.o This one was just regular pencil, but most of my older stuff like [link] and [link] were mechanical.

I'm so glad you did this, people need to realize that having a tablet or prismacolour pencils and etc. don't make you the world's greatest artist. o_o I love her ghost whoot, too. XD
It's things like this that deserve to be on Daily Deviations, things that show people that regular paper and pens/pencils work just as well as a $500 marker from some brand that everyone admires and some $890 paper. I honestly wish this would be on the DD instead of women showing off their breasts. D:

You just about don't even pay attention to the notebook lines. Most of mine, I was told to get away from lined paper. Don't think they'd say the same about yours. The shading's probably what makes the art stand out more than the lines.

Just thinking about doing something that good on pencil makes my hand hurt! Well, probably because I'd get irritated with it before I was even done with the lineart. u.u
