I'm trying a new technique to fight art block, which is to open the Discworld Companion to a random page and draw whoever pops up. I got Ruby earlier ( alda-rana.tumblr.com/post/1154β¦ ), and then King Irounfoundersson, Carrot's dad - which suited me very well since I love drawing dwarfs

This is so cute! Never imagined the childhood of Carrot but this looks nice. I especially like the dwarf's expression - he seems kinda worried that the boy isn't really dwarf but at the same time he likes him as his own son.

Isn't it? You can open the book to any page and (except maybe if you fall in the middle of one of the long articles about Guilds) you're guaranteed to get at least one fun character. The Disc is that awesome!
