Rich mommy who raised her alone blah blah she always wanted to make her only parent proud so she worked herself to the bone blah blah she never had fun as a kid because she was far too intense and respected all the rules so kids didn't really want her to be their friend blah blah found it more interesting to study and kept herself busy with lots of club activities blah blah peers her age respected her and boy, she loved it blah blah now in highschool, all's the same just 10000x times more intense because she has a dream and she'll do anything to achieve it

Mei's existence is actually an accident, the result of a one night stand between two students who didn't even exchange names. They met, liked each other and decided to spend the night together then carry on with theirs exciting lives. It so happens that Mei's mother, a bright, young law student decided to keep the child once she found out she was pregnant. With the help of her rich family, she graduated from university and went on to become one of the most well known prosecutors in the country. Mei got to spend enough time with her mother and had a wonderful childhood even though she has never met her father. All she knows about him is that he was an exchange student, most probably french and really, really attractive and charming.
When she was about 10, her mother adopted the son of an old friend from high school whose case she got to work on. Mei loved the little guy from the moment she set eyes on him and they've been inseparable until she graduated from middle school and moved in the dorms. It was also around that time that her mom found the love of her life in a younger actor who felt the same about her. So of course, they got married and at last, their family was complete and everybody was happy!
Now Mei, currently in her second year, is doing her best every single day in order to make the important people in her life proud!

Mommy - strong, independent prosecutor, her idol
Younger brother - adopted as a baby from a family of crazy people, she loves him to bits
Step dad - her mom's boy toy turned husband, he's an amazing guy even though he's really..young...
Mysterious cousins - they pretty much spent all their holidays together ever since Mei was born, they're more like brothers to her

- Her dream is to become a crime laboratory technician and help solve crimes, of course.
- Strongest subjects: anything science related and foreign languages (english and french)/ Guilty pleasure: writing short stories
- Mei feels that when people use nicknames when addressing her, they are actually not taking her seriously. And she HATES IT. If you're dating then it's a different story, but even then, it will take AGES before she will accept cute nicknames
- Very super duper extra competitive. If you want her to do something you think she might refuse, do it as some sort of dare or bet and brag about how you can beat her. That should do the trick
- She's actually an introvert who can enjoy being sociable at times, in smaller doses. At the end of the day she still prefers staying in her room, studying or playing on her 3ds. By herself
- Wears glasses when her eyes get too tired
- The only time when she takes a break is during club activities. She sips her fancy black tea, chats with the other members about their day then she runs off into the sunset to study or help a teacher or whatever it is nerds usually do
- Decided to become a maid on a dare but she stayed because she thought it would make her mom even prouder. Which is impossible because her mom couldn't be more proud. And hey, extra money for games and books!
- She calls her family every evening at 9 pm sharp, occasionally exchanges letters with her cute brother and sticks all the ones she receives on the wall above her desk
- Enjoys long walks in the park, but even though she prefers them when she's alone, she might drag someone along from time to time
- She's a really good swimmer, but the sport she's best at is actually skiing. She can't wait for winter holidays so she can go try crazy winter sports with her beloved cousins and brother
- Prefers a more casual clothing style, lots of jeans and comfy shirts and skate shoes. Yes, what a disappointment, I agree
- Likes coffee as much as she likes black tea
- Lost her first kiss on a dare as well, and yes, she considers she lost it. Regrets it to the day
