Spectacular view! My.. Tyrol is in Austria right? Where you are from? I have seen several other (though I am sure there are a good number of) photographers from Austria on DA. When shown photos like this I really want to start travelling!

The composition is very eye catching, I don't think I understand enough yet to say exactly how, but one thing I think is awesome is the lines. How the mountain angles to the lower right along with the treeline; then the fence comes slighter and the opposite way. It give my eyes someplace to go, a place to follow. Also, it seems to be a small thing but might be making a significant difference, the fact that you left a bit of branches on the upper right. Otherwise the scene would sort of dissipate into whiteness, but now there is somewhat of a frame. Quite a shot, beautiful toning. Great work.

Wow, great view. The composition of the trees are really nice, and having the mountains there was a very good choice.
And lets not forget the tones and colors, really great work!

Aleks... this is such a wonderful picture!!! Absolutely picturesque!!!

I love the gradient shades... the view and all the elements on it.
Must be great to be there. The natural slope of the land adds so much to the picture.

it's just some meters down from the house we had barbeque
my friend lives at a great place, which would be perfect for some relaxation weekend or some more extra days... and it's just twenty minutes outside the city

There is something else and i'm trying to figure it out...The dazzling light, that is where the eyes keep falling after travelling the shadowy yet detailed foreground. There is a need to search for something else besides the familiar scenery. Little or no attention is paid to the majestic mountain top, it is just always there... What is there beyond that light? - 'Although wonderful where i am my mind dreams of a very distant place' .
Expressive photo, not at all a postcard.
My

thanks for observing that close!
behind that light to the right are more mountains, but they hide a bit that day...
that we still have snow on the mountains is quite unusual, as we had one of the coldest monthes of May I can recall for the last years... like today we had 2 degrees in the morning...

where is the summer, I wonder?

woooooooooow......i love the tyrol i've been to a couply of places in tyrol before (but a few years ago now ) I'd love to go again!!

wonderful feel to the pic, maybe it's the dark sepia tone going on in there....like a still from the life of a mountain lumberjack in times of old....or something

really really great!!

I just tried to alter a cheesy postcard picture into something else, but nevertheless it still looks like a cheesy postcard pic from Tyrol

Woaw!, is that a real photo as it looks to good to be natural.
The kinda brownish atmosphere creates a nice feeling all around it.
The fence the trees, mountain and mist all makes a perfect harmony. realy nice work
