aleph31 — My first deviation by-nc-sa

Description I've just started using Photoshop for drawing/painting, this is my fifth attempt.

The drawing was made from scratch, using a wacom intuos4L that I bought to start off on the right foot

As you may see, I have little knowledge on the tool itself, let's see if I can get to master some techniques to be able to stand up to the nice stuff I see posted on this site

This is very cool, I like the designs on him especially the one on his hip. Very nice.

thx The hip thing was just an experiment with PS (I'm just a beginner on digital painting), I will try to make better mecha-like stuff on my next uploads

I don't know what it is, but I like this.
I think it's the colors with the fluidity of the lines that makes this work.

thx! The drawing is maybe too much generic/academic, but I tried to add more "substance" during the painting process, giving more movement by letting the background color in, etc

thx!!! I really appreciate it, it's my first work and I see really wonderful stuff here, so I'm a bit nervous

Btw, I've checked your gallery and it's awesome, I like specially "Old Soul", it reminds me a painting from Georgia O'Keefe, congrats!

Well, not today, but tomorrow I plan to upload some scans of sketches I have at work.
