Your focus is very well done. My eyes glide from the leaves to the extending fence, wich is quite nice. The colors are very nice, and the light isn't too distracting. The brown/red of the leaves entangled in the fence is a good color "pop" in the cool color background. Also good work there. This scene reminds me of chilly autumn days when the trees are just starting to go dormant before winter actually arrives, so your message is clear. The title brings a mournful, dramatic feel to the work. I think you did a wonderful job with the photo.
