Thanks. It's all one piece of bark that is carved into. It is cottonwood bark, very thick - about 4'' on this one, so it gives You a lot of dimension to work with.

If You look at my blog - alesthewoodcarver.blogspot.ca You'll see lots of crazy stuff You can do with bark and there is a small part about the bark itself if You want to see it.

I like it how you use the natural structure of the wood or am I false and that is all handmade? I'm confused.
But i really love it :3
