i met this man on Parliment Hill.when my class and i went to Parliment Hill, the art gallery and Sparks St. we gathered by the centential flame then i noticed that sign. opon closer reading and attention, this man came up behind me (sadly i forget his name, and lossed a pamplet he gave me) . we started talking and i ask him about the signs. this is what he told me.
His daughter was raped and impregnated by supreme justice T. Alex Hickman of Newfoundland. and he seeks a paternity test and justice. but why on parliment hill you may ask? this is why. when he sought to take legal action his lawyer, told him that any lawyer would be insane to take the case and it would be the last case that lawyer EVER took.
this wasnt the only dad with this story. apperantly there are 4 other families trying to find justice against this man. so i ask him if i could take a frame and spread news amongst the internet and ppl i knew. he thanked me and we parted ways.
so please... tell someone.

It's so heartbreaking that people's lives can be ruined and our politicians and leaders stand idle. A good human being would leap at the chance to help this father and instead the people who should help seek to keep themselves safe from any repercussions. I hope everyone in the world can understand that.
This is an excellent portrayal of a man's struggle and it weighs heavily on my mind.

OMG, this is so typical. It's symbolic of the larger picture. Like it's ok to get away with war and murder if you're the idiotic bigwig that ordered it to take place. What are we supposed to do about situations like this though?
In a complete reversal, I know of a situation where a big 15 year old "boy" literally forced the much smaller face of a46 year old woman into his "lap" because her 15 year old daughter wouldn't have sex with him after he threatened her with a knife several times and choked her. Then he turned around and told the school and thus the police that the woman "assaulted" him. She's now facing felony charges for "sexually assaulting" a minor. This could mean years in jail and the loss of her career and her marriage! What a fucked up world, eh? (BTW, this isn't in Canada.)
And yet, Mr Supreme Justice T. Alex Hickman gets to sit there in judgement of the crimes of others! WTF!!! ARG!!!
