Those who watch my art LJ may have seen the original un-shaded sketch of this earlier today. This is the same sketch, cleaned a bit then shaded loosely, then colors tossed on in PSP8.

The Star Fox universe has intruigued me as of late, and a few things have resulted. One being this picture, which I drew earlier today depicting how I think Vixy Reinard would be. I definitely don't see her as some typical frilly female, if James were to stick with someone they would have to keep up. Also, I split the genes of the muzzle and head stripe between the two parents, I think it would make the comparison more interesting. Also, I toned the fur colors to be on oposing sides of Fox's, so he's the middle ground. I liked the idea of the red scarf Fox tends to wear formerly being Vixy's, it was the only bright colored thing she would wear.

Fox playing with James' glasses, because it was a cool/cute/fitting idea. Show his freaking eyes, dangit.

All in all, this was a blast to do. Ended up making a breakthrough with muzzles, but we'll see how long that lasts.

And to any fan-people that wander by, I'm not really a member so I haven't been exposed to all theories. No flames plz, but I would find it interesting.
