Perhaps, the most horrible things are not the ones that can chase you, but the ones that wait for you to come to them...When I was little, I begged my dad to buy me a carnivorous plant and when I finally got it after many "please, please, pretty please", I was terribly disappointed with the actual item; It just sat there motionless waiting for bugs to fall in its pitcher.
It broke my heart.

Creepy as hell! Love how the teeth are irregular, makes it more ghoulish along with those ribs of some hapless soul.
My dad bought me a venus flytrap. It was cool for a while (loved dropping ants into the mouths) but then we had to move to the Philippines and it died. That broke my heart.

I fed boiled egg yolk crumbs to mine, which was fine since that's the part of the egg I don't like... It lived for nearly two years, but didn't grow much.
