a bunch of WIPs, well...sort of, if I had any ideas to go with them....see what happens is that I have this great (*cough*) idea, and I do the background first and then i realize its not going to work...so it sort of gets...left
SO I want to eat your brains on this.... any ideas on what to do with any of them? I just want to put some sort of animal in them, I'm not fussy on what...

Personaly I think that back grounds are gorgus the way they are however there could always be something just off in the distance rather then close up.

I think the first one would look good with an elephant. It's a very subtle thing you see, having an elephant emerge from clouds. Lol
I'm sure whatever you do it will look great! I would give ideas but, seriously, I don't have a brain, just cotton wool, and nothing useful comes out of it.

#1 and #3 totally deserve a pegasus.
#4 I see a unicorn or some other equine rearing up making a sort of silhouette against the sunrise/sunset.
.....but I must agree that a pod of flying whales would be quite impressive.

I have no idea but pleeeez finish the first one... the colours are beautiful. Please don't tell me these were unref'd or I will have to go and jump off the nearest high object. (Probably a chair)
Number 3 is beautiful too, the lower left cloud you've started on is amazing.

I'd say 1 and 3 are your strongest here for sure... much more depth and interest than the other two. So if you're going to do something with them, choose those two XD.
As for creatures... uh... I think they work really well as just dreamy landscapes, you know, haha. BUT anything equine and winged would be marvelous

hmmmmmm well 1 the clouds look likea form of castle so maybe a kingdom in the sky with horsemen riding to it.

my fave is number 3 and i can picture a pegasus flying. a pegasus, but not a solid colour one, white kinda mystical, soft, etc

1: A gold colored dragon, back to us, rising to greet the sun.
2: Reflected in an eye of a horse.
3: Three a large white dragon flying tword us, wings in a down stroke, twesting a litte as it flies.
4: I honestly like this one as is.

#1 would be gorgeous for a gryphon skimming along the clouds in the foreground. #4 looks so wonderful, like just the right setting for a unicorn

ohh with number 2 i can picture a night mare or mares. mabe some occult based horses. i love the ponies!

#3 doesn't really need anything else, just polishing up
#4 maybe a phoenix or a brightly-coloured dragon or winged horse, come to think of it, even a black one of those would look good

1) I know your an equine artist, but I think a great white tiger running through the clouds, and fading into them would look wonderful. May work with large, white muscular pegasus as well.
2) I see the side of a face, of a dark, black equine. Slightly angered and harsh looking.
3) A bluish Equine, pegasus prefferably, with a mystical looking coat, guardian of the heavens.
4) A horse rearing into the background, angry as hell, and I would add rain pouring down onto his flesh.

i think in number 1 you should draw a massive pearled pegasus or something, like so when the light shines on him he shines colours of the rainbow, if you get me :/

Everyone's ideas on pegasus, dragons, and griffons are good, but I personally like the idea of a golden eagle or falcon in one of them...maybe it's just me. XP They just look so majestic in the air! O_o

They are gorgwous. Maybe you shoudl just try and perfect one of them, without actually beeing forced into adding a feature - you seen teh work of he's my interstellar hero - what he does with shape and color is amazing!

I can only have a posotive idea for #1. I think you should put like a really pretty white pegasus and maybe have a foal flying beside it. It could represent like the foals first flight or somthin. ^^

4 a rearing unicorn sillhouetted agains the sunset, mouth open as if screaming defience with mane blown back...

Oh wow, such inspiring pics... I envy you, doing backgrounds so well o_O
I'd suggest for nr 1 a kinda Chinese dragon likish creature, a white one... I immediately thought of that when I saw the pic.
Second one is a bit more difficult though, maybe some kind of black eagle would be cool, you know?
Third one *thinks* I'd think about some kind of horse, maybe a sort of friesian pegasus with bat wings, some dark creature. Or more at once... Some dark ones in the background far away or something... I have no true idea for this one actually, it's difficult, maybe you should try experimenting...
And the last... I'd suggest a gryphon or a phoenix, I think in this pic too, it's best to choose an animal with the same kinda colors, though, make it stand out enough...

A herd of cloud horses or pegasus or something in one of the night ones? Then maybe the two 'thinner' ones just close up shots of some horse or put 4 and 2 opposite and show two sides of a creature?

For #1 you should do something totally bizarre and have some black dragon-demon of some sort flying through the clouds and breathing fire, a total contrast to the background. In one of the other ones you should draw a group of animals. Everyone else gave you some pretty good ideas otherwise.

A black horse (perhaps a friesian) with black leather dragon wings.
Have you read harry potter book nr. 5? I don`t remember the name on the horse breed but they are always black and skinny, and only people who have seen death can see them.

for 1 and 3 I see some flying animal, of course I want equins, but drangons/gryphons would be cool. For 2 I see a unicorn crying or calling out to the moon. And for 4 I see two unicorns galloping into a sunset or galloping out of a sunrise, hope this helps!
