This was a quik painting i did for when i was getting approved for my job with Topps. to work on cards for Lucasfilm for the 30 year anyversary sketch cards.I started it at 10pm and worked on it till 3 am along with other perncil sketches that i need to submit, By the next morning at 8 am i was approved and was now a Lucasfilm official artist.
again this is a somewhat older painting. But it got me the deal so ill show case it.

Oh my gosh, this is absolutely amazing!!! The colors are perfect, and it looks just like him. He is a hard face to catch on paper. Great work

ty, i think that this was the best picture i could find, usually hes hard to draw because he barely has any shadows on his face in the available photos out there.

i agree, he is a bit hard for me too. But i find han to be the most dificult for me, dont know why, i think its because all the pics out there a pretty bad lighting or quality

Han Solo is so animated with his face that each look from different scenes and movies is almost like a different person to me. The early Star Wars Han and the ROTJ Han look completely different with his age and the Indiana Jones Harrison Ford has another completely different feel with the scruffy looking face of his! People and cars are the most difficult for me to draw and people with cars a near impossibility!

thats exactly the problem, his face changes so much that every drawing looks different and i cant seam to get his angle just right.
