This reminds me so much of the forests back in British Columbia. Wonderful photo.

It's a rather ominous image. The mist is reminiscent of memories lost within a forest of dread and longing. The red is so vivid, and coupled with the shadows and silhouettes of the trees, makes for a sumptuous feast of almost macabre landscape. Really, the red seen in this context reminds me of blood.

Interesting title. It fits the picture very well, although I do not consider this your best work, it is still captivating...

The fiery needles fall with every passing autumn covering the ground and feeding the old trees of centuries past and providing them with the nutrients of life that they have needed to gain there strength to grow and reach the silver mist of morn. Forming a sheltered haven for all the living creatures that venture out into the wilderness to gain there own strength and feed.
Really love this one !! great contrast!!
Cheers for now

yah. it's the last real-looking forest remaining here, all thanks to OCWA's abandoned land.
This park isn't even on the map.

I like that you took this picture. Most people would just walk on by a scene like this and not think twice, great work.

I love the small tree in the front of the large one.
And the color on the ground.
Not so much liking the large full view, it's too large for me to see the full picture at once.
