Description Here is a picture I did of Jacque and Cheval battling the Russian army at Borodino. I'm really happy with how the smoke turned out. It appears Jacque and Cheval are getting ringed in but no fear. He's a Cuirassier! He can handle himself.

I know right!!! But if it bent so easily just think it could have been a poorly made sword. If it makes you feel any better.

Great scene, do you have any plan to draw Waterloo?

Thanks! I will be doing some Waterloo scenes in the future.
I did one of Quatre Bras which happened right before Waterloo.

The beauty of this scene is interesting... the man that worries me the most is the one approaching from the flank... the resulting charge could be painful for our French heroes. Though it was common for both sides to don white gaiters such as those... hopefully he's a faithful Grenadiers de la Garde ImpΓ©riale rushing to the aid of his brothers!

Oh thank you so much! It could be a Russian but it could be one of the Old Guard. If it is the latter it will be bad for the Russians assaulting Jacque.

This looks awesome and shows the action from a rarely used perspective.

I like ho the cannonbal and the broken sword is in the center of the picture and notΒ Jacque's duel with the Russian officer. As forΒ Cheval... well, a horse with a bayonetless musket duking out with several infantryman with bayonets... ain't the best chances for him.

Thank you so much!

I like that too. Ever since watching 1970's Waterloo I can't not put cannon balls lodged in the mud. Don't worry about him. He knows how to shoot. XD And I wouldn't want to be the guy who get's the empty gun tossed at him either. Cheval is quite the war horse as we shall see in the upcoming comic.

Yep. Cheval always has Jacque's back. The Muskettoon is usually mounted on the saddle without a bayonet. Don't worry though. Cheval knows how to shoot and the stock makes a good club.
