Description Another character from another game. This one is WoD hunter. Her name is Eris. She was raised to hunt demons by a member of the Malleus Maleficarum - the the shadowy, militaristic witch-hunting arm of the Catholic Church. Funny thing is, she's a descendant of Lucifer himself from back in the pre-flood times when the Nephilim bred with humans. So yes, she's got an interested hatred-of-self thing going on.

She's also highly resistant to psychic attacks, and that ability (along with the ability to resist insanity) got her placed on a special ops team dedicated to dealing with tears into the Abyss and defending against the eldritch horrors that escape into the world when that happens.

Fun fact: the writing on her left arm is a Catholic prayer, written in Latin. It's a prayer asking for forgiveness, since she walks a very thin line between getting rid of the abominations of the world (vampires, werewolves, witches) and outright murder.

Critiques are always welcome

neat, very neat. Ive got two characters that have similar backgrounds. And i have to sayi like the feel of this sketch. Has a mix of gothic punk that i enjoy so very much. I have to ask though, what are her religious views (in general). Is she the liberal minded or very doctrine-oriented. Is she inclined towards Redemption or "Punish the wicked and Let the Devil sort out his own kind" of gal?

Once upon a time, she was very Catholic and fully believed she was going to Hell when she died because of her bloodline. She hunted evils in a last ditch effort to be redeemed. She hoped for redemption but didn't expect it. Still, she also didn't believe it was her place to judge humanity. Every human was worth saving. Honestly, the moral grey areas didn't come up much as much of what she hunted were completely inhuman, Cthulhu-style horrors. Still, when it came down to it, she was far more likely to give someone a second chance than to shoot them down 'just in case'.

Sadly, about halfway through the game she fell into the Abyss and came out with about half the morality score that she went in with. She continued her hunt but she lost sight of what she was fighting for and it turned into something of an excuse for lots of violence. On the plus side, she opened herself up to her demonic heritage and gained powers that saved the entire party more than once

Very nice back story. sounds like fun (well, not for her), and very enjoyable to read. And falling into the Abyss is never good for one's morality to any sense. My inquisitor was possess by a demon and was able to fight back long enough to be exorcised, but he went from a fun loving, empathic and strong conscience-type person to a cold, sullen, and grim character unable to express what he feels like he use to. When he dreams, he dreams of Hell and the terrors within, since when he was exorcised he took a apart of the demon into his soul as his own was partly burned away.

So what im saying is A. i like where your coming from and B. paradoxes, conflicts (internal and external) and traumatic experiances builds character, and i find your story really brought Eris to life in my mind.

I have only 1 real concern with your drawing is the hands, the gun is ok, but the hands seem alittle awkward. Otherwise, coming from someone who as issues drawing the humman and especially the female form, its quite good and dynamic.
