For fun
I wanted to paint another entry for =girltripped 's contest because 1) it's soooo much fun! and 2) I learned a lot from the first entry I did. So I piddled around with another one, not sure if I should enter it or anything but finally, I worked so hard on this that I figured I've got to enter it. The bracelet was unbelievably taxing. Overall it took me about four days - actually working on it - to complete. And even then I'm not happy with it
But on the lighter side, I have a walkthrough of this to post (I did myself a favor and decided to save my history snapshots for later) and closeups which will be put up almost immediately after this...
Anyway, ta-ta!

I know its a while since this was submitted but I think the realism in this peice is absolutely stunning, If I didn't happen upon the tutorial first I would have passed it as photographic. Wonderful dark colours and lighting, how did you do in the comp?
