In response to the never-ending threat on the battlefield, Vampire Industries and Cyborg industries have teamed up once more.
This time, however, it was to create a multifunctional modular weapon which is easily to adapt to the current situation.

After a short 4 months in combat duty, the vote to keep producing it was an unanimous 'HELL YES'.
The insane popularity the Lancaster enjoys, is due a few things:

- The versatility: a trained soldier can change the Lancaster from an assault rifle to a mid range sniper rifle within mere moments. The only parts that need to be changed are the barrel, the scope, the front rail part and the bi-pod. Next to that the Lancaster can also be stripped down to its bare essentials and form an easy-to-hide smg for tank crew or security detail.

- The durability: Although it was not specifically designed to be extremely durable, it was soon confirmed that the Lancaster was virtually indestructible by the most common enemies of weapons: water, mud and dust.

- The accuracy: The Lancaster has set some amazing records in both the assault rifle and the sniper rifle category. It has been able to hit targets from greater distances, with more accuracy than its counterparts. This has been made possible by the Vampire Targeting Systems (cookies go to ~Lord-Malachi for this: [link] ) which is able to track and identify targets, next to its ability to calculate the required barrel elevation.
